Stephanie Therese Merchant is an Attorney at Callahan & Fusco. Ms. Merchant is an experienced litigation and trial Attorney. She represents insurance carriers and their insureds in civil litigation matters throughout Florida from inception through trial in both state and federal court.
She specializes in an array of general liability issues including premise liability, products liability, strict liability and commercial matters in claims involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, substantial monetary and property losses. Ms. Merchant has defended corporate clients in cases involving business disruption, defamation, malice prosecution and violations of condominium bylaws and regulations.
Ms. Merchant has litigation and trial experience handling first party property cases as well as experience advising and representing clients in matters regarding commercial contracts, wills, trusts, probate, real estate and family law.
Ms. Merchant earned her Bachelor’s in Science degree in Public Administration and minored in Nonprofit Organizations and Emergency Management Services from the University of Central Florida, Summa Cum Laude. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University.
