Donald Irons (he/him) is an Associate at Callahan & Fusco, located in their New Jersey office. He is admitted in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and focuses his practice on civil defense litigation.
Mr. Irons graduated from Seton Hall Law School in 2023. While attending law school, Mr. Irons served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jodi Lee Alper, P.J.Ch. in Essex County, New Jersey, during the summer of 2021. From March 2022 to April 2023, Mr. Irons worked as a law clerk for a plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Hackensack, NJ. While there, Mr. Irons worked on diverse array of personal injury matters, including wrongful deaths, medical malpractice, premises liability, and automobile accident cases. His work on these cases included the drafting of motions, briefs, and mediation statements, legal research, and other assorted tasks needed to prepare these matters for mediation and/or trial.
In his final semester law school, Mr. Irons was a student attorney for Seton Hall’s Immigration and International Human Rights clinic. In his time there, Mr. Irons represented a mother and child in removal proceedings before the EOIR in Newark, NJ. Mr. Irons brought forward a successful asylum claim on behalf of his clients, allowing them to stay in the United States.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Irons served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Jeffrey R. Jablonski, A.J.S.C., in Hudson County, New Jersey. As his clerk, Mr. Irons wrote many draft opinions for a variety of civil, criminal, and guardianship cases, amongst others.
