Kira concentrates her practice on complex insurance coverage litigation. With hundreds of cases under her belt, Kira's clients benefit from her excellent legal writing, public speaking, and advocacy skills and her experience in all phases of representation, from the initial assignment to trial, mediation, or settlement.

Prior to joining the firm, Kira was a senior litigation associate with a national defense firm, where she represented clients in complex litigation, including defending against professional, premises, and product liability claims. Before that, she was an associate with a Pennsylvania-based insurance defense firm. Over her decade of practice, Kira has also had experience defending equipment manufacturers, outside contractors, brokers, real estate agents, engineering and architectural firms, medical and healthcare professionals against a variety of claims, including general liability, catastrophic loses, design defect, and professional liability.

Kira earned her B.A. from Oberlin College and her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law, where she was the executive copy editor of the Duquesne University Health Law Journey. She also holds an LL.M. in Litigation Management from the Baylor University School of Law, where she sharpened her skills as a litigator and studied business strategies, data analytics, complex arbitration and negotiation, case assessment, e-discovery management, proving and attacking damages, and crisis management.

Outside of her legal work, Kira loves exploring Philadelphia with her wife and toddler. She loves fitness whether it’s a Peloton workout or walk through her South Philly neighborhood. She also completed her first half marathon in Pittsburgh in May 2017 and her first Broad Street Run in Philadelphia in 2023.
