Daniel Kaufman is a Senior Associate in the Massachusetts Callahan & Fusco office. Mr. Kaufman is a seasoned trial attorney licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut, with a specialization in matters pertaining to premises liability, personal injury, transportation, construction, and other general liability matters.
Before joining Callahan & Fusco, Mr. Kaufman was an Assistant District Attorney at the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office for seven years. During his tenure there, he represented the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in well-over a hundred criminal trials and argued hundreds of motions pertaining to a wide range of complex legal issues in various district courts, as well as the Norfolk County Superior Court. As a prosecutor, Mr. Kaufman also engaged in grand jury investigations, presented cases to the grand jury for indictment, and litigated bail and dangerousness hearings.
While in law school, Mr. Kaufman worked as a law clerk in a private personal injury firm, and in criminal public defender offices in Massachusetts, Virginia and in Washington, D.C. In each of these roles, Mr. Kaufman zealously assisted and advocated on behalf of clients—helping them to achieve favorable and satisfactory settlements and outcomes.
