Alexis Upton is a Partner at Callahan & Fusco in Tampa. Ms. Upton has spent most of her legal career representing insurance carriers and their insureds in civil litigation matters throughout Florida, from inception through trial. She specializes in trucking and transportation, premises liability, professional negligence, and commercial matters in claims involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and substantial monetary and property losses.
Ms. Upton also served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida. Ms. Upton prosecuted thousands of cases and represented the State of Florida in over forty jury trials. Ms. Upton also led the Misdemeanor Domestic Violence Division in Pinellas County.
Ms. Upton earned her undergraduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Cum Laude. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law. During law school, Ms. Upton received the Victor O. Wehle Award which is awarded to the outstanding student in each section of Trial Advocacy.
