John Anello (he/him) works in Callahan & Fusco’s New Jersey office as Senior Counsel. Mr. Anello brings a diverse set of litigation skills to the firm. He devotes his practice to insurance defense, product liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation. He is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York.
Before joining Callahan & Fusco, Mr. Anello represented insurance carriers and businesses in a wide range of complex issues related to insurance coverage, audits, retroactive premiums, and deductibles. Before his insurance industry experience, Mr. Anello was a Senior Associate at a large law firm and represented financial institutions, securitized trusts, distressed debt investors, and mortgage lenders in secured loan transactions, foreclosures, loan restructuring, and the sale of distressed real estate. Mr. Anello began his practice by representing law enforcement officers and teachers in a variety of administrative and civil matters related to their employment.
Mr. Anello is proudly dedicated to pro bono work. He represents Eva’s Village, a charitable organization that provides meals, recovery, and assistance to New Jersey’s most vulnerable residents. Mr. Anello also serves on the board of First Montclair House, an affordable senior living community.
